What is hypnosis

Hypnosis is a natural, deep relaxed, yet highly concentrated state. It enables us to communicate with our subconscious. The conscious is highly active, it perceives everything.

We can find ourselves in a hypnotic state many times a day, as it is a completely natural one.

How does hypnosis feel like?
Do you know how it feels to be «dreaming» about something very beautiful? Have you «lived through», for example, a special moment of your life, perhaps a vacation experience, again? Did you feel for a moment again as if you were at this location? Have you lost track of time? You know the feeling to ride the train for a while; a route you know very well and all of a sudden you’re there? You have not slept through the trip, but cannot remember the intermediate points of your trip? Your thoughts were digressed… Do you know the situation that you are so absorbed in a task, a project, that you begin to express your thoughts and ideas out loud? Hypnosis feels very pleasant and relaxing, as it is a completely natural state.

How does hypnosis work?
In hypnosis, we work with you to focus your concentration through visualization and so to overcome your obstacles, achieve your goals and to feel better. The subconscious mind receives and retains all suggestions, all messages. A phenomenon, if you are in the hypnotic state, is the increased suggestibility. There are many different theories to explain this. However, there is agreement about the outcome: An individual creates change. If you’re in the mind state of hypnosis, then the subconscious mind – the part of us that creates the automatic behaviors – is less influenced by our own self-talk. It tends to react to the suggestions, ideas and concepts that are given to him by creating AHA-experiences to accept them. This in turn results in altered views, settings and thus in a change in behavior in certain situations.

Hypnosis makes quick changes possible by our mind on what we want (not on what we do not want) focused and this tells the subconscious in a way that it is understood and accepted.
